"Admittedly one of the most powerful voices in Brazil nowadays."
Singer, composer and guitar player. Three albums, more than 18 years of career and international tours across Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia and the US.
Current project
Anna Setton’s forthcoming album — her first entirely of songs written by herself, in partnership with Edu Sangirardi — already has two singles recorded.
Produced by Michael League (Snarky Puppy) and recorded by Nic Hard, with Aaron Parks on piano and Antonio Sánchez on drums, the record takes her from interpreter to author without leaving the intimacy that defines her voice.

Story
Anna Setton began her professional career in 2004, after singing in school choirs and studying classical and popular music in São Paulo. In 2010 she joined Toquinho, with whom she toured for five years as a special guest singer — a partnership that put her voice in front of the Brazilian repertoire at its source.
From there came three albums, festivals and clubs in fifteen countries, a duo with Omara Portuondo, TV performances and a growing international audience — with Portuguese and English as working languages on stage.
Her next album marks the shift from interpreter to author: songs written by her, produced by Michael League (Snarky Puppy).
