“Bye Tio” is Sol Smith’s first glance at her marvelous songwriting mixed with the magic of Felipe Sciotti (Annita, Xamã and hit Netflix & Amazon films: Beyond the Universe, Burning Betrayal…) production touches. A punchy reggae pop tune reminiscent of Lilly Allen’s “Smile” and Flowerovlove’s bright pop hooks, the song delivers arrangements only a trained ear in Brazilian music will catch first time around, for the rest of us, normal human beings, “Bye Tio” will definitely be one of those grower tunes, capable of brightening airwaves around the world not purely for its Pop/Reggae vibe but most important because of Sol Smith distinctive  vocals, after all Sol Smith is Brazilian and her music goes away beyond pop tunes, wait for bossa novas to drop.
