O Jardim das Horas at MIS in SP : 2.04.2011

After a nice start of the year which saw O Jardim das Horas making the short list of Itaú Cultural, one of the most important cultural projects in Brazil, from over 2600 other music groups; it is time for yet another high profile concert. This time at MIS ( Museo da Imagem e do Som) in São Paulo Brazil.

The concert will take place on Saturday the 2nd of April at 8PM. If you are not in Sãa Paulo do not worry, we got the DVD of Itaú Cultural coming your way with subtitles in 4 languages. keep it tune.

Jardim das Horas and Rumo Músicas from Itaú Cultural

O Jardim das Horas (The Garden of Hours) is one of the 74 bands chosen to participate on the cultural project called Rumos Música, a music event from Itaú bank, one of Brazil biggest financial institution. The band was chosen from more than 2699 other groups to make the 40 edition of this project. As one of the groups contemplated they will be participating on Itaú Cultural presentations from 2011 till 2012 and record a DVD of the event.

VOTORAMA MTV | O JARDIM DAS HORAS top 10 of the best albums so far in 2010

The new portal of MTV, Votorama was created for people to choose what is best in music, movies, games, and anything that involves the culture, an interesting tool for you to know what is shining on the Brazilian pop culture.

We are very happy to announce that O JARDIM DAS HORAS is one of the highlights in Brazilian national recordings that stood out in the middle of 2010. The debut album O Quarto das Cinzas (The Ashe’s room) is among the top 10 list with the track “Amarelolilas”.

The group showed that they have matured and honed their compositions with the album ‘O Quarto das Cinzas’, delivering more innovative musical ideas, and this is a prove that the album and their efforts got the deserved respect by the Brazilian audience. Well-done guys!
